President Barack Obama to announce extra 34000 troops for Afghanistan before end of November: "President Barack Obama is poised to send an additional 34000 US troops to Afghanistan but is set to delay a decision to attempt to persuade Nato allies to expand their commitment to fighting the Taliban."
